Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel. Posts charges to guestrooms, verifies credit cards, balances bank at the end of the shift. Assists in rectifying guests questions and concerns. Maintain and process period transaction data and reports, and daily revenue reporting. Audit guest checks for pricing and sales tax errors. Audit the numerical sequence usage of restaurant and lounge guest checks. Post all late charges and all guest check corrections to guest folios in time for express checkouts.  Act as the manager on duty as necessary, including appropriate handling of all guest, associate and emergency situation that arise during shift.

Thorough cleaning of guestrooms consists of replacing all linen and towels in the room, vacuuming and dusting, replacing guest supplies, and thorough bathroom cleaning. Notifies the Housekeeping Management or the Engineering Department of any maintenance or repair that needs to be done. Must be very responsive to guest requests and be able to communicate easily with them in English. A second language is a plus. Must be able to work a flexible shift. Bending and lifting are part of the job.

Protect and safeguard all hotel guests and associates, their belongings and all hotel assets. Respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non emergency assistance in a professional manner. Patrol all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations.
